It is a knockout. Greenway05/18/2011 This ad for Agatha Christie's Greenway was discovered by Colin Cadle in a copy of Country Life magazine from the 1930s. The latest issue of the Agatha Christie newsletter (sign up to receive it at www.agathachristie.com) included the image. This beautiful, large estate was available at one time for only six thousand pounds. By the way, I'm sending my belated congratulations to John Curran. His book, Agatha Christie's Secret Notebooks, won in the Best Non-fiction category at Malice Domestic. It must have been a monumental task to document those notebooks, and Curran did a fabulous job. Happy Birthday, Agatha09/15/2010 Today would have been Agatha Christie's 120th birthday. There is an ongoing celebration of her works over at the Barnes & Noble online mystery book club, with various authors blogging throughout the month about some aspect of Agatha's life and work. I'm proud to be a part of this effort (my post about sites associated with the famous author will appear September 30). The lineup includes Kate Stine and Brian Skupin of Mystery Scene Magazine.
