This ad for Agatha Christie's Greenway was discovered by Colin Cadle in a copy of Country Life magazine from the 1930s. The latest issue of the Agatha Christie newsletter (sign up to receive it at www.agathachristie.com) included the image. This beautiful, large estate was available at one time for only six thousand pounds.
By the way, I'm sending my belated congratulations to John Curran. His book, Agatha Christie's Secret Notebooks, won in the Best Non-fiction category at Malice Domestic. It must have been a monumental task to document those notebooks, and Curran did a fabulous job.
