With Davina Porter narrating, this book originally published by Midnight Ink is receiving new notice (thank you, Davina)! It also was nominated earlier this year for an Audie award. Wishing you fantastic good luck at Bouchercon this November, Davina, when the winners will be announced.
In a wonderful surprise, my second novel, 2009's Death and the Lit Chick, has been nominated for an Audie Award in the mystery category. It is wonderful to see the St. Just series getting this renewed attention - the books are coming out next year in British editions.
Davina Porter is the narrator up for this award and she is known for her fabulous and amusing interpretations. Winners are announced during BEA week; the event likely will be on the evening of May 29th in New York. Fingers crossed for Davina!
At last! Amazon.com is displaying the new cover for "Death and the Lit Chick (A St. Just Mystery) by G. M. Malliet" http://amzn.com/0738712477
No change elsewhere online yet. According to my publicist, the online sites update according to their own schedules.
They've put a new cover on my second book, Death and the Lit Chick. Same content, same book - new cover. The idea is to make this book look more like the other books in the series.
The old cover was very different (see below).
This is the old cover. I do think the new look will have broader appeal.
